Hello Everyone: Welcome to my website.
(Please scroll down this page to get all of the latest news.)
I know you will find the site is easy to use and very informative.
You can keep up with my travels and classes in the calendar section.
I book one year in advance and take a limited number of teaching dates.
My classes and calendar section offers brief descriptions, supply lists and colour photos for each project. The classes vary from crazy quilting, embroidery techniques, silk ribbon work to land/seascapes and underwater projects. I am happy to teach the projects featured in my books.
I am now on Facebook and I try to keep in touch with everyone through a large selection of photography albums. You can scroll through them to see some of my latest projects and tours. I now keep an ongoing photography document of each days progress on a land/seascape. This way you can study the process I use.
Facebook has replaced my monthly newsletters that are now archived
under the heading newsletter archive, just to your left.
THE STUDIO SEMINARS IN LA VETA
This summer will be a busy one with the Studio Seminars here in my beloved La Veta, Colorado. My studio and guest house is situated in a Northern New Mexico/Southern France building in my backyard. It is surrounded with beautiful gardens and the porch is covered with grape vines. As you can see from the photos below the La Veta area is beautiful and a photographers paradise. I have posted the 2025 Seminar Dates and they are filling up fast! I am presenting six seminars this summer, so check them out and get signed up to avoid disappointment.
The seminars are limited to six or seven students, depending on the seminar, to make sure each student gets exclusive time and attention. The days are a combination of classes and play. Each seminar is a La Veta Experience with daily half hour visits to various private artist studios and a photography trip to record the beautiful surrounding area. The five-day seminars ensure a firm grasp of the subject and students can return home to finish their projects without worry!
The La Veta area is beautiful and I highly recommend that students take a few days before or after the seminar to explore. We are just two hours from Taos, New Mexico and one hour from the Great Sand Dunes National Park. So, consider combining holiday time with study time.
For further information please check out the Seminar Studio Section.
