Create a beautiful crazy quilt square using the Montano Center Piece Method of machine piecing for the base work. Judith shows how to create fan shapes, convex/concave circles and mitered rectangles to create an overall mosaic look. The afternoon features embroidery, and embellishments. SUPPLIES (Please refer to the basic supplies list also.)

• Sewing machine • 1 – 12” Sq. Muslin • 12 to 16 – 10” sq. fancy fabrics: moirés, satin, silk, cotton, polyester. • Use a variety of solids, textures and prints in complimentary colors. • Choose 50% solids and 50% prints • Variety - needles, chenille, darners, tapestry, sharps, embroidery, straw • Beads & Nymo thread • Braids & trims • Laces, medallions, buttons, doodads • Variety - embroidery threads- soilds & variegates in silk, cotton, rayon. • Variety of ribbons - satin, sheer and wire. • 4mm & 7mm silk ribbons -variegates & solids
