B. THE SEA GARDEN POUCH

Create an unusual decorative pouch that hangs from a beaded necklace. A small rectangle shape acts as the background for a seabed created from beads, silk ribbon embroidery and free-form embroidery. The base and the lining are Thai silk. Use shells, beads, metallic threads, silk ribbon, fabrics, and buttons to create your work of art. These are art-to-wear pieces of jewelry and will be sure to draw comments from everyone. The pouch measures 2 "x 4 ". Featured in Belle Armoire

• 10 sq Thai silk, colour of water
• 10” sq. iron on interfacing – ironed to back of Thai silk.
• 10” sq. template plastic
• 4 - 7” sqs. - silk and organza for seabed and coral formations
• Variety of 4mm silk ribbons. Small amount of sheer and wire

edge ribbons
• Beading needles-sharps, tapestry, chenille, embroidery, darner.
• Variegated embroidery threads & yarns (seaweed/ water colors) • Metallic threads.
• 10” sq. thin Pellon fleece
• Variety of beads and pearls for necklace and pouch.
• Nymo beading thread.
• Shells, small buttons and doo dads
