A. LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS6 HOURS

Create a small unusual fabric painting using fabrics threads, yarns and ribbons. (Can be a land or seascape) Can be beaded and embellished for extra detail. 8”x10” or 5”x7” picture when finished. Must bring a matt with a 5” x 7” or 8” x 10” opening. Page 74 & 76 Art and Inspirations.

SUPPLIES (Please refer to the basic supplies list also.)

• Mat with desired size opening (must bring!) • 12 – 10” sq. landscpe fabrics. Use mottled patterns only. Silk, cotton, rayon, organza, velvet. (textures, matt finish and shine). • 1 – 12 “ sq. Pellon fleece • 12” sq. muslin • 1 – 9” x 12” rectangle Sky blue fabric • Variety of dyed organza and cheese cloth • Netting or tulle – white, blue, brown and black. • Variety of variegated yarns and threads • Variety of ribbons, satin, sheer & wire • Variety – embroidery threads – silk, rayon, cotton – solids and variegates. • Variety of 4mm and 7mm variegated silk ribbon – solids and variegates. • Buttons, crystal and findings to add to foreground. • Beads, Nymo beading thread • Aleen’s Original Tacky glue and masking tape.
