B. PAINTING WITH FABRICS - Sea or Land 2 DAYS

Create a work of art using burned and wrinkled fabrics, smocking, a variety of fabrics and threads. Bring your favorite photo or scene to be made into a Crazy Quilt Landscape. Picture can be up to 14”x11" (no larger) Page 148, 158 Elegant Stitches.

SUPPLIES (Please refer to the basic supplies list also.)

• 1 – 1/2 yd. sky fabric • Matt - inside opening is size of project. Must Bring • Variety of fabrics - solids, textures, mottled prints, silks, cottons, polys. • Variety - Yarns, ribbons – variegates and solids. • Variety - Embroidery threads - silk, cotton, rayon – solids and variegates. • 1/2 yd. muslin ( heavy weight used for upholstery) • 1 sheet tracing paper, 1 sheet sketch paper • Variety of needles – sharps, tapestry, chenille, embroidery, darner. • Netting or tulle – white, blue, brown and black • 1/2 yd. Pellon fleece for framing. beads, buttons, doodads, Nymo beading thread • Variety of laces • Variety – silk ribbons 4mm and 7 mm. Solids and variegates. • Optional - Sewing machine -Only if crazy quilting will be used in project. • Judith will provide paints, brushes (not overseas)
